LEICHHARDT MP Warren Entsch has congratulated local businessman Trent Twomey, who starts his role as the new Chair of Advance Cairns today.
“Trent has an incredible level of enthusiasm and an absolute commitment to our region,” Mr Entsch said. “He is very well connected and highly respected.
“He will bring new energy to Advance Cairns along with the ability to look at things from a different perspective.
“My congratulations also go to outgoing Chair Cam Charlton for the work that he’s done in driving Advance Cairns to where it is now.
“Over the last few years the organisation has been transformed, now it’s time to push the refresh button and Trent has the attributes to take Advance Cairns to the next level.
“I look forward to working with him.”
