What Warren Entsch and Tony Abbott will do for Far North Queensland

$40 million to kick off Cairns' Tropical Sports and Cultural precincts, including;
               - $3.5 million for stage one of the hockey stadium
               - $3.9 million for roof covers for the tennis centre
               - $3.5 million for the first stage of the rectangular stadium precinct upgrade
               - $1.5 million for an updated business plan for the Tropical Sports and Cultural Precinct, which will include
                    an upgrade of the Tobruk Memorial Pool, a rectangular stadium for soccer, rugby league, and rugby
                    union, a netball stadium and a 1500 seat performing arts centre and adjoining precinct.
Work with Traditional Owners to implement a temporary moratorium on all hunting of dugongs and turtles to allow for the assessment of population numbers and to put an end to illegal hunting.
Commit $100,000 to the Adventure Waters Water Park, an innovative project that is expanding Cairns' tourism market.
Give $10 million to promote Far North Queensland and Cairns as a tourism destination in the emerging market of China and to capitalise on the increased flights from New Zealand.
Stop the Wild Rivers legislation that has locked up the Cape is preventing future development and job opportunities for Indigenous communities.
Increase the number of business visitors and conventions in Cairns through the Coalition’s $28 million pledge to create business events tourism in communities like Cairns.
Save the Far North Queensland fishing industry by suspending Labor’s plans to lock up the Coral Sea and Gulf of Carpentaria fishing zones.
End wasteful spending
Pay back the Labor's debt which is growing by $100 million a day, every day
