CALLING ALL BUDDING ARTISTS!
Federal Member for Leichhardt, Warren Entsch has announced his Christmas Card Competition for 2011.
“This competition is to encourage all children under the age of 12 to design my Christmas card for 2011. This has been a very successful project in the past with an overwhelming response from our schools.”
“I am delighted that Cairns Penny Savings and Loans General Manager Peter Phillips is joining with me again for this competition. The Cairns Penny Savings and Loans bank are continuing their support with awards for the winners of this competition.”
The first prize is a $150 First Penny account; second prize is a $100 First Penny account and a $50 First Penny account awarded to third prize.
The First Penny account was recently awarded the Best Kids Savings Account in Australia by Your Money Magazine and has been awarded five star rating by Cannex every year since it was introduced in 2009.
“This year our theme is A Family Christmas. Families in the Far North celebrate Christmas in a unique way and I would love to see our Christmas card showing how we do this in the Far North.”
All schools will receive the conditions and application forms for their students to fill in and start designing. This competition will close on 3rd November.
All entries will need to have the application form filled out as well as the original design sent to:
