Calling all budding photographers! Have you taken a photograph that showcases your beautiful community and its character?
Federal Member for Leichhardt Warren Entsch is inviting the people of Leichhardt to submit entries to a community photograph competition.
The 12 winning entries will then become a part of Warren Entsch’s 2011/2012 community calendar with their image and name printed in the publication which will be distributed to businesses and homes in the Leichhardt electorate.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer to take a great picture.
“Pictures can be on any topic for example the sunset on one of our stunning beaches, local wildlife, underwater images of our Great Barrier Reef, bustling community events, beautiful landscapes or the things we do to make a living.
“Leichhardt is a picturesque electorate with many smaller communities, and a lot of special treasures.
“I am hoping to receive entries from people from all over the electorate. There is no better way to capture the great place in which we live than to have people of all ages who live here share their photographs,” Warren Entsch said.
Images should be sent by close of business 10th May 2011 on CD to:
