Sikh Petition

Federal Member for Leichhardt, The Hon Warren Entsch MP was approached by members of the local Sikh Community in Cairns regarding the lack of official recognition of the nature of the events now known as the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots or 1984 Sikh Massacre.
The Sikh Community is seeking support to petition the House of Representatives to formally acknowledge what occured in 1984.
